I have a Delphi application that is running on a Windows 2003 box
against a SQL Server 2000 SP2 machine. We are using the BDE (we have
never had time to change it to ADO). The other night we got a hundred
or so "Attempt to initiate a new SQL Server operation with results
pending" errors. All of our queries are using the NOLOCK clause.
Shortly after these errors, we got a flood of "Access violation at
address 406F0462 in module 'bdertl60.bpl'. Read of address 00000078"
errors. Has anyone seen this situation, or can anyone give me some
guidance? The app had been running smoothly for a week without any
problems. I was going to upgrade the SQL Server 2000 to SP3, but I
dont know if this is the issue.
Thanks,
Dennis
