Hi,
I have been searching now for quite some time to locate a decent set of
16x16 pixel icons for use with with speed buttons in Borland C++ Builder. I
am looking for icons which are in bitmap (*.bmp) or icon (*.ico) form so
they are compatible with the TImageList component.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for 16x16 icons sets and possibly
the same icons in the larger 32x32 format? Is there a standard set
available? I have seen many application which all appear to use similar (if
not identical) icons both on speed button and as graphics next to menu
items.
Finally are there any recommendations for generating my own icons for those
that simply don't exist? I am not particularly artistic so my attempts so
far look quite pants!

Sample icons come with BDS2006.
They are in the <prog files>\Common Files\Borland Shared\Images\GlpFx
folder.

Just in case.
Standards Windows icons stand in C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll.

16x16's available for free here: http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/
