You must not have seen the recent discussions in this newsgroup on that very
issue.

I did but I just thought it would be fun to start a count down. Now 20
days and counting.

However I didn't see much on Linux cross platform development in that
thread.

I couldn't possibly forget, because Dec 15th is my father's birthday, so
I'm used to celebrating Beethoven with leftover cake <g>.

Nothing wrong with Beethoven of course, however Mahler gets my vote.
But Ludwig clearly has the more popular birthday. <G>

I was a big Mahler fan in grad school. But Beethoven has reclaimed his spot as I've aged.

Mahler's Sixth used to be my favorite piece of music of all time.

For me it's the 2nd... esp. the last movement.

Obviously viewers of a Clockwork Orange will also be celebrating the
birth of Ludwig van.

I figure the NHLPA will make an offer to the league that will not tie
salaries to revenue and it will be rejected by the owners. Then the NHL
will announce the cancellation of the 2004/2005 season.

Beethoven lovers will be celebrating Beethoven's Eve.

Borland will make some sort of an announcement regarding the future of C++
and VCL development tools.

At least the Beethoven lovers won't be disappointed 8=)

Aloha
Bill
