Hi,

I use Acrobat Reader's Activex on my system to open and print a pdf file. On
W2k it works fine but on XP it opens Acrobat Reader program and it does not
show my file and of course does not print it.

Does anyone knows how to solve this problem? By the way, I am using Activex
from Acrobat Reader 5.0.

thanks,
Heriberto

Heriberto,

On the XP system, try opening a PDF file directly from Windows Explorer.
You may see the License Agreement Consent form appear. Select Accept and
click OK. then close Acrobat. Then try your app.

When your app tries to run Acrobat before the agreement has been
accepted that form gets displayed in the back and you never see it.
Looks like your program is failing when its just Acro holding things up.

Allen.

I ran Acrobat before and I accepted the License Agreement.

I installed acrobat 6 and it works fine.

Now I have another question. The activex has a property called "src". What
can I do with this property?

Hi,

'src' is the source PDF file name which is to be displayed in the Acrobat
Reader Control.
