|
|
Hi,
in BDS20006, has Borland started using any
activation/lock-to-one-computer-hardware functionality like MS Office?
Reason for asking not piracy related but more that a development tool i just
that, a tool that may be needed to bring along sometimes and hauling a
desktop computer around is not very convenient.
Thanks,

From paragraph 2.3 in the license.txt file for BDS 2006.
"You may install the Product on a reasonable number of
machines provided that the Named User is the only individual
permitted to use the Product."
I appears you can install BDS 2006 on your laptop and take it with you.
Please post your results of activating the product on another
computer; I have not tried it.
