My problem is next:

I have ActiveX Form compiled with CAB and inf file:
[Add.Code]
my.ocx=my.ocx

[my.ocx]
file=my.cab
clsid={MYGUID}
RegisterServer=yes

HTML:
classid="clsid:MYGUID"
codebase="my.inf"
Quote:

/OBJECT

I placed these three files (html cab and inf) into IIS web site, local
intranet.
When I call this html from other PC from intranet, inf and cab
downloaded fine into winntdownloaded program files folder, ActiveX
shows in IE. BTW: I used http://172.16.../my.html URL in intranet, so
IE is in Internet zone (not local intranet), also I've added this site
into Trusted sites, low privacy settings.

When I place same files into remote server (Linux / Apache), ActiveX
has failed to initialize in IE (6.0.2800.1106 SP1). I also added this
site to the Trusted connection. I noticed, that nothing comes to the
winntDownloaded Program Files, but cab and inf are in IE Temporary
cache. So, even if I click Yes in "Security Warning - Do you want to
install and run http://apachesite/my.ocx.. signature not found", it
can not install and run .
Also I noticed in other sample, even if ocx is downloaded from Apache
site to this folder, it does not initialize.
ActiveX license check box was not selected in project, so it is not
license issue.

Any suggestions to?

Best Regards,
Slava
