I've installed Adobe Reader 6 and done an application which uses the PDF-OCX. If I start the program on machines which have then Reader 5 or 6 everything works fine. But if the machine has Reader 7 nothing works. On one computer I get a "unknown error". On another machine I get a "Could not find Acrobat External Window Handler". I've read in serval newsgroup messages that I have to unchecked then option "Show PDF in Browser" (at least I think so, it is just translated ) => No result. Of course I can install Reader 7 on my developing machine and then install the 7th OCX. Then I got no problems with other machines with Reader 7. But all other machines don't working anymore. Cause the program should installed on many costumers I can't anticipate that everyone uses the Version I'm using. Any suggestions?
