TxQuery : ver 1.86.2 (Ene 2004)
kbmMemTable : ver 5.50

Hello

I have successfully compiled and installed TxQuery under BDS 2006
Enterprise but it only seems to work for queries without a 'Where'
clause i.e.

SELECT * From Customers – Works fine.

SELECT * From Customers WHERE RangeDesc = ‘A’;

I get the error ‘C: Unknown Identifier C at line : 1, Column: 2,
Token:.’

Any queries involving a WHERE clause seems to return a similar error
message.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Stuart

I received a copy from the author but I haven't had time to upgrade to
BDS2006 yet - you might want to check with him - he did mention that BDS2006
changed something with TField.

Best Regards,

Hello Shane

Thanks for the reply.

'I received a copy from the author' : have you received a specific
update for BDS 2006 ?

I emailed EzSOFT Engineering (gismap (AT) prodigy (DOT) net.mx) on the 4th April
but have had no reply.

Best Regards

Stuart

Hmm, which Version is this? I have a version named in xqconsts.pas
1.86.2 (ene 2004) the pas-file is dated 10. February 2004. Did he send
something newer to you?

Hello Günter

I have looked closer at the files sent and they don't seem to include
the source code, which I have now requested from Alfonso. But the date
on the supplied xqconsts.dcu file (as with all the .dcu's) is the 1st
March 2006, althought the version is still shown as 1.86.2 (Ene 2004).

Best Regards

Stuart

Thank you! I will also contact Alfonso, I reported a problem and got now
answer till now. Maybe he fixed the problem.
