Should I use FastMM4 with BDS 2006? I am trying to upgrade from Delphi 7.
I edited MyProject.dpr with notepad because I can't find a way to do it in
BDS. Then BDS cant find FastMM4.dcu. I placed it in the browse path under
the Win32 library. I entered it as ($BDS)\FastMM$ where I have this file.
BDS adds C:\Projragram Files\Borland\BDS\4.0\FastMM4 in addition even tho
both entries have valid paths. Still no go, can't find the file.
I copied the file into \bin, still no go.
What can I do to make this thing find FastMM4? I also have this problem with
the internet express sample package. It can load an application which uses
it after I add it to the library but as soon as I exit BDS and restart it,
it can't find the package again. |

Right click on the project output, eg Project1.exe in your project
manager window and "view source"

Bin isnt in your library search path by default, did you upgrade fastmm
as per the instructions on the file? You do know bds2006 comes with a
built in version of fastmm?
