I have the same problem too. It occurs in Turbo C++ (explorer edition). I get following error message after running IDE: "Personality 'CPlusPlusBuilder.Personality'is not supported" and details window:
+ $1C[20C4A24F]{coreide100.bpl} IDEServices.IDEServices.TPersonalityServices.CheckPersonality (Line 3823, "IDEServices.pas" + 2) + $1C
+ $5046[0041BD8E]{bds.exe } bds.bds.Finalization + $5046
+ $2[004114F1]{bds.exe } AppMain.AppMain.TAppBuilder.ProcessMenuPopup (Line 4518, "ui\AppMain.pas" + 2) + $2
+ $6[52058A3B]{vcl100.bpl } Controls.Controls.TControl.WndProc (Line 5143, "Controls.pas" + 83) + $6
+ $6[5205CA19]{vcl100.bpl } Controls.Controls.TWinControl.WndProc (Line 7246, "Controls.pas" + 105) + $6
+ $5[5207124D]{vcl100.bpl } Forms.Forms.TCustomForm.WndProc (Line 3284, "Forms.pas" + 125) + $5
+ $6[5205C1A4]{vcl100.bpl } Controls.Controls.TWinControl.MainWndProc (Line 7021, "Controls.pas" + 3) + $6
+ $0[51F60BC0]{rtl100.bpl } Classes.Classes.StdWndProc (Line 11572, "classes.pas" + + $0
+ $6A[77D38731]{USER32.dll } GetDC + $6A
+ $14A[77D38811]{USER32.dll } GetDC + $14A
+ $122[77D389C8]{USER32.dll } GetWindowLongW + $122
+ $A[77D396C2]{USER32.dll } DispatchMessageA + $A
C++ doesnt work. File/New menu contains only "Other" position, its impossible to create any new project and even to open any project from "Demos" folder. Windows XP SP2 with all updates, .Net framework 1.1 and 2.0. All components required by Turbo C++ (MSXML, .Net sdk etc) are installed. I tried to repair installation but it doesnt work. I have completely no idea hot to deal with this problem. |
