Hi All,

Will it be possible to upgrade from Borland C++ Builder 3 Professional
to Turbo C++ 2006 Professional?

Since I only need to write my applications using C/C++ should be this
the right upgrade path or I have to look at BDS 2006 ?

Thanks!

AIUI, there is no upgrade path to the Turbo products, they are
considered a new product. You can either buy the upgrade to BDS 2006, or
buy a new copy of Turbo. Those two options are said to be very close in
price.

If so, I think I will upgrade to BDS 2006...

Thanks

But turbo-c is compatible with bcbBuilder, and there is the support for
vcl, or it is a really differente product, like for example was
cbuilderX ?

Yes, the new Turbo product is basically a repackaged version of BDS
with just the C++ personality. It supports the VCL. That being said,
Borland still considers it to be a new product which is not an upgrade
to any existing product. 8-/
