Hi everybody,

I have a problem in the undestanding all the compiler options of my BDS
2006. Someone can help me in the comprension of the options for the
memory managemnt?
I have a complex application that use some DLLs. Each DLL have a thread
and use big data structures for data coming from different devices.
These data structure have a size of 2-5K. The .exe file that load the
DLL and launch the driver instead of the DLL is slow and sometimes it
crash. I have tried to set some different configuration of the stack
and heap memory and the applications looks very sensible to these
settings. How is going the memory management of a program that use the
DLL? I have to set the memory of the .exe application larger? I have to
uncheck the RTL manegement? Which are the difference?

In addition I have another collateral problem. The graphic layer of my
application does not works well because of sometimes it crash and I am
not able to control the application; hence I have to restart it.
Is it a problem related to the memory management? I have the mainform
with a tabpage and in each tabpage I have put a frame. Each frame have
some refresh functions that try to refresh the memo and the editbox one
per second. The problem could be that I do the refresh evenif the
tabpage refreshed is not visible?

Hope someone can help me!!
Many thanks

Fabrizio
