hello

we ship our c++ library for both builder 5 and 6

now we would like to automate the build process, and
use makefiles

is it possible to run builder5 and builder6 makefiles on the
same machine ?

i notice the makefiles use some variables like BCB, CC, etc...
these don't seem to be defined in builtins.mak..... are they
automatically passed to the makefile by make.exe ? (so that
ther compiler won't always point to c:builder6binbcc32.exe
when compiling builder5 makefiles, for example)

please note plan to have totally separate projects for builder5 and 6
(projects and makefiles won't be common)

Thanks

Best,
