Hi,

I create an application in D2005. This application is developed
using C# language, and I didn't use any Borland components nor
add any Borland .dll files to it.

So can I host this application in a hosting company which
supports ASP.NET/.NET Framework but not Delphi language?

Thanks for any suggestions,
Peter

Yes. It doesn't matter which language was used to create the assembly,
as long as all necessary assemblies are deployed.

Hi

I have the same question.

Now we are going to use D2005 to delevop the web applications
using C# and MS SQL Server. Without using any Borland
components, do we still need to place any Borland
redistributable runtime .NET assemblies to the BIN Folder,
such as Borland.Delphi.dll,Borland.Vcl.dll, ect.

In the past, when We used D8 for our web-based development and
tried to host on 1&1 hosting company which support .Net Framework but doesn't support Delphi. We failed to do this for
the security reason. We were told that Borland.Delphi.dll try
to modify information in the regirstry of the hosting server.

In our situation (c# and MS SQL Server), could anybody give us
some suggestion on choosing a good Hosting companies ?

I have successfully deployed delphi dlls & asp.net (*.aspx ) application all
through Delphi to a web host
see http://venkateshvt.com/blogs.aspx(with Delphi .ECO & ms sql server)
Actually the the hosting companies do not allow dlls to be executed like
isapi dlls/web service dlls etc
How ever they have no problem if your *.aspx applications use dlls
internally
IF you need any other help please contact me
By the way the name of the hosting service is in india & it costs arond 65
$ for the whole year. You can see
