I am not able to edit anything in the control, if I Insert a new record. The other DB controls bound to the same table works fine(they allow values to be entered). But on the other hand, for edit operation, the TDBMemo control is working fine. After inserting I checked the properties (readonly is false)at runtime (using the watch window) and everything is fine. Can you please suggest why the control(TDBMemo) does not allow a value to be entered on Insert, but does allow a value to be entered on Edit. Thanks in advance Hidha.
