|
|
I'm using C++ Builder 6 on a English WinXP with locale set to Chinese (PRC),
when I tried to input some Chinese strings in the code editor, it simply
won't show up. The input method I used is the build in MS Pinyin IME 3.0.
Can anyone tell me how to make the code editor accept my input? What setting
in should I change or is there a patch for enabling Chinese input in the
code editor of the IDE? I use to work on a Win98SE + ChineseStar environment
and it works fine, but lately I upgraded to WinXP (for better compatibility
with my client's system) and the ChineseStar 2001 is not working with WinXP
anymore....
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Regards.

You need to make sure Windows is operating in the right mode. There
should be some sort of icon in the services tray indicating what
language you are running with. With 2000 and XP, each app seems to
have it's own setting, so you need to ensure the WINDOWS ims mode for
the IDE is set correctly.
