I need the SQL statement to get the default value of a column (Field) in a Interbase, Oracle, & DB2 table something like SELECT COLUMN_DEFAULT FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS WHERE TABLE_NAME = 'your table name' is this possible in all SQL databases? Hoi Shane FYI the newsgroup borland.public.delphi.database do not officially exist. Use b.p.d.database.general. Further use Borland news server when posting.
