I use JBuilder 9, and it's very slow, for example the compilation of a program takes from 4 to 9 minutes. I have 512 Mo RAM, and 768 is recommended. Is this the reason of the problem ? Are there parameters or options to change to have a faster compilation ?

Thank you

If you are getting compile times that long when compiling a simple class
then something is very wrong. You might try starting JBuilder from a
command prompt by executing the jbuilder.exe file and see if any
exceptions are being thrown to the console.

I have started JBuilder from the command prompt, and there isn't any exception.
Do you have other solutions for this problem ?

I have found the reason of the long times, it was because of 2 process which take 100% CPU : OiSelector (OptimizeIt), ans ss.exe (Source Safe). I stopped them and the speed was better.
But I have another problem now, I can't configure Source Safe in JBuilder, when I go on "Team" Menu (I don't know if it's the word, it's "Equipe" in french), JBuilder become grey, and I can't do nothing, it's blocked.
I have to close JBuilder with the task list. And after it's closed, the process ss.exe take 100% CPU.
I don't know if the problem is due to JBuilder or Source Safe.
Can anyone help me ?

What version of SourceSafe are you using?
