I suppose you want to play with the data and save
the originals...

If so, first check where is the BCDEMOS alias pointing
to. To check taht, you can open SQL Explorer and mark the
BCBDEMOS. On the right side you will see the PATH,
which is at me:

C:Program FilesCommon FilesBorland SharedData

Then just make a physical copy of the whole folder and
place it on some other location, say:

C:bcbdemos

Then, in SQL Exloprer / Main Menu / Object / New
create new ALIAS (STANDARD), and rename itafter
adding to: BCBDEMOS1.

If the 'New' is not enabled 'Close' the active connection
of BCBDEMOS, or select some other entry.

After creating the new ALIAS, on the right size select the
new PATH for BCBDEMOS1 (C:bcbdemos).

Finally, on the left side select BCBDEMOS1 and
right-mouse / Apply / OK.

Enjoy.

Best regards,
Vladimir Stefanovic
