On the client computer there was no browser service installed. I can connect to the Express on the same computer with ADO or Native Client, but when connected from remote computer, it ran into the error which said 'SQL Network Interfaces:Error Locating Server/Instance Specified'. It seemed the client could not find the instance of the SQL Express. I googled on the net and followed those instructions to install connection components of native client, but this did not work. Are there any other suggestions from you? Yes, I have enabled all the services related to SQL Server already, but this might not help.
