I've tried to use the old dxexpint.dll from D7 but it says "version 2.5 is not supported". First: it is really a bug? Anyone noticed this problem? Second: compatibility with version 2.5 dll it's quite essential. It is clearly documented in the on-line help that DBX 4 supports dbExpress 3 drivers but not version 2.5 drivers. So are you saying that anyone using firebird can't upgrade to D2007? anyone=a LOT of people (ok, we can use third party drivers (paying) but why does borland/codegear support mysql (for example) and not firebird? this is unbelivable...) seriously there are no plans to support it or upgrade the driver? if so I'm going back to D7.. I know that Martijn Tonies of Upscene is working very hard to get a DBX 4 version of his driver finished.
