Hi,

I'm wondering if there are any PC (read Windows) tools for managing a
DB2 database on the AS400.

The tool should be able to setup new databases, create/modify tables,
run SQL and most of all - create/modify stored procedures.

The tool can be commercial or open source.

Any info would be appreciated.

Jannie.

Yes, there is a client which allow to connect to as/400 (eserver) from windows, like an sql database manager.

I don't remember the name, but its free
and included with newer versions of os/400.

And includes an odbc client to connect to their databases,
including from delphi.

You should check IBM pages.

Good Luck.

You can use DBNAVIGATOR a tool with Client Access.

Enjoy with it
