Greetings to all .....

I'm working on a small Parts inventory application that is well on its
way to being completed. The Tables are Paradox v4.x flavor and
located on our server. This should will work well for our needs. I
have double checked all of the "picture" statements in the fields that
need them using the database desktop. I am using the picture
statement *! to force all alpha chars to upper case. In the
database desktop edit mode this works well - However,

In my application I use a DBGRID to view and edit the table's
contents. This is working except the characters will not adhere
to the picture statement embedded in the tables structure. In other
words, any character entered remains in lower case when they
should be forced to upper case.

Am I missing something here? Could someone offer any assistance?

Thanks in advance!
