To make it 3 Tier I built a Remote Data Module. Then I built my client with DCom connection on the same machine. Now I moved my client to a different machine. I opened my program in D7 and wrote the computer name in DCom. Now I should get Server name in the drop down that I'm not getting. If I type it by hand then also I don't get ServerGUID automatically. As a result my client doesn't run on a separate machine that was running fine on the machine where RMD server application is running. Me server is a Windows 2000 server and the client is a Windows XP. I'm using D7 Ent. Regards Iqbal.
