I have a sqlserver 2000 app running, and at some point i am getting the
message:

"exception message : General SQL error.Transaction (Process ID 101) was
deadlocked on {lock} resources with another process and has been chosen as
the deadlock victiCould not enable or disable the constraint. See
previous errors.."

and then all my process is stopped.

I was reading about the subject and now i know the purpose of this.

And, is there anyway of being avoinding the process be stopped, giving
my user
a chance of be waiting for the other transaction to be finished?

I am using Delphi, and i want to know whatīs the best approach i can
use, for the
application hand this.

But, it have to be global, because i donīt want update all the queries i
have, with "no-lock" commands,
or something like that.
