At this point, we strongly recommend that you dump JB 6 Personal, and download JB 2005 Foundation (free!) from http://www.borland.com (go to the download menu for JBuilder). It's futile to get JB6 working, and IIRC, it doesn't even support JDK 1.4 (or maybe it did - maybe JB5 was the one that didn't support 1.4..) Debugging was not available in the older "personal" editions. Debugging was a "pay for" feature.
