I tried writing to a file on c: drive but that only seems to work after someone has logged on. The service thus starts when the machine boots, before anyone has logged on. Unfortunately, no events seem to get logged :( Can anyone tell me if I'm approaching this problem in the right way? (ie using the event component) and what i need to do to log events in my service?
