Some of you have wondered why I haven't piped in lately since the "sneak
peak" video have been released. Perhaps even wondering if, "Am I
disinterested now that the letter is out?" Obviously, like most of you
guys, I am very encouraged ( just been busy). Sorry for the absence.

Despite my business, however, I've managed to put a more thoughts on the
blog to go along with all the other material in support of our letter, their
letter, and now the video. You can find the latest at
http://tinyurl.com/5af2y.

You'll see that I'm affectionately calling the Delphi 2005 IDE "Trinity".
The reasons I think are obvious - 3 languages supported - one environment.
But no matter what you call it -- ultimately I see lot's of upside to what
might result:

- Keeps C++ with VCL support strong (again)
- Levels playing field between Delphi and C++Builder users, 3rd party
vendors (finally)
- Aids Borland's management of resources (to their relief)

Can't wait to hear (see) more!

Have a blessed New Year!

r/ Paul

Hi Paul, I am greatful that folks like yourself, who are very busy
indeed, give up some of their valuable time in helping to get Borland
to decide positively on the C++ / VCL support that we have seen thus far.

Thanks again Paul - Great work!

BTW: The highest honor that someone can achieve in "my" country
(Trinidad and Tobago) is the Trinity Cross.

Quoting from your Blog.....

-> It’s possible that Trinity could be the best
-> thing that has happened to Borland and their
-> users since the advent of Turbo Pascal in the
-> 80's and Delphi and C++Builder in the 90's.
-> Time will tell however!

This is a "big" statement.....and it sounds so
exciting....I feel like Tank contemplating Neo's
existence when he said something like "we are
entering great times"

Certainly I believe the potential is there - it's simply a matter of
execution and delivery on Borland's part!
