Is there a way to grant the same Delphi 2005 license for multiple developers
?
Not to violate any copyrights, but just to save us time for installation and
follow up.

Let me explain...
In the company I work, we're with several Delphi-developers, currently still
using Delphi 4 and 5. We have prepared a PC with all the stuff a developer
needs, including the Delphi installation, took a SysPrep from that, and use
this each time we have to install a PC for a developer. We did bought enough
Delphi licenses for as many developers as needed, but actual used one single
license on all developer's PC's. The other boxes are put away in a closet.

Now we are migrating our software to Delphi 2005. For a start, the company
bought 5 Enterprise licenses.
Since we want to use the same installation principle (installing anything,
then taking a SysPrep, and re-using this for each developer), I started with
one computer..
I've installed one of the packages, registered it, and tested to verify I
have a registered version. Then I invited a colleague developer to logon on
this computer and start Delphi 2005. Unfortunately, this colleague enters
Delphi 2005 as an unregistered user, with an expiration limit of 29 days;
and we cannot find a way let hem start Delphi as a registered user.

I surely hope I don't have to assign a license to each current 'named' user,
because then I foresee other problems.
Must each developer then request an own 'named' registration key ? And if
so, what happens if a developers leaves the company, or moves to another,
non-developping job in the company ? Can I then assign the license to
another developer ? After all, the licenses are the proprietary of the
company and not of a particular developer. And people are moving so fast
these days, we cannot affort to buy 'named' licenses which will be used
sometimes for only a couple of weeks...

Any advice will be accepted gratefully.

Why doesn't someone from Borland answer this question? It's a legitimate
question that I think a number of us are interested in hearing an answer to.

I am not from Borland and have an official voice, but for me it's pretty
clear that every developer needs his/her own licence.
