Hi!

I have registred a Delphi 2006 Pro licens. I first installed it on my laptop
whitout problem. But now I also tried to install it on my stationary
computer. The registration guide does not allow me to use the same
registration file I received by mail from Borland for my laptop. I can't
find any information on Borland website for licens conditions.

Am I allowed to install Delphi 2006 on two computers (of course the are both
mine)? With Micosoft OEM licens you are allowed to install the same licens
on (at least) one stationary computer and one laptop (if you own them both).
How does it work with Delphi?

Thanks!
Niklas

Yes, you'll need to register again, and it shouldn't be a
problem. I've registered the same copy of the software on
multiple machines. After you reach some maximum number
(maybe 7 or so?) you may need to contact Borland to ask them
to "bump up" the number of permitted installs.

Hi,
Here is the answer. You can read it completly in your
Borland Delphi license under the "2.3 Named User License".
Extracts from this paragraph:

-The Product may be used exclusively by the specifically
designated Named Users, subject to all the terms and
conditions of this License Agreement.
- "You may install the Product on a reasonable number
of machines provided that the Named User is the only
individual permitted to use the Product."

This means that yes you can install it on both your machine
but you must be the only one who use the product. It means
also that you must use the same registration account for the
product.

Hope this answer your question,
