|
|
Hello,
We have a Delphi application where sending HTML based e-mails is the
main function. This basic HTML Editbox component was not available in
D3, D4, D6 nor in D2005. I did not buy D2006 due to the fact that this
component was still missing and that I had troubles with third party
components when moving from D4 to D6 and from D6 to D2005. (E.g.
QuickReport is not available in D2005 anymore.)
In D6 and D2005 I use now the DHTMLED.OCX ActiveX component. I had some
problems with importing this ActiveX component in D6 and in D2005. I get
the error message "Unknown Interface". With a workaround on internet, I
was able to use HTML edit boxes.
Is this problem solved in D2007 ?
In Windows Vista there is no DHTMLED.OCX anymore. My application give an
error in Vista when trying to open an e-mail window. The error is:
"Class is not registered"
Has D2007 finally an HTML component in its package ?
Thanks,
Hubert Anemaat |

You should be able to embed IE as a simple HTML editor. This is what a
lot of web based editors are doing.
