Hoi
You need to repost your question on the Borland news server to make
everybody see it and possibly answer your question. Further, this newsgroup
do not officially exist, use e.g. b.p.d.vcl.components.using.general

Thanks for your response. Iam using drag & drop as a feature within a grid
component. This component only offers OnMouseDown,Up,Move events and does
not give access to OnMouseClick. I am using BeginDrag within the
OnMouseDown event.
I think you are possibly correct in that the grid is capturing the
MouseClick event before I get access through the MouseDown event. I dont
know how to interupt that access and gain control over the mouse events.
Thanks again for your help.

if your working with a third party control it's very possible that
the cursor maybe getting reset! it that is the case then it was
poorly written. possibly code in the mouse move event to force the
cursor to remain at a constant.
maybe you should perform your own test in the OnMouse move to detect
the current Mouse being used in the drag.. |

Hoi
FYI this newsgroup do not officially exist, that is why there is so few
posts and so few viewers here. The newsgroup you should use is
b.p.d.vcl.components.using.win32, and you need to post to the Borland news
groups server.

BTW cross posting is a bad habit. |
