Hi,

I am running Delphi 5 and recently my componenets tabs appear to have
disappeared from the Components Palette, including all the standard
Delphi ones. All the packages are installed and if you right click on
the menu and make the component palette invisible, it will disappear.

In the Configure Palette properties, again, it appears all components
are there.

Any ideas? I have tried deleting my .dsk files to see if it would make
a difference, but that also hasn't helped.

I am experiencing the same thing!!!! One thing that will fix it, is to
run D7RegClean.exe, from $(DELPHI)Bin folder. However, that will wipe
out your registry settings, and is basically the same thing as
uninstalling and reinstalling Delphi.

So, far this is the only solution that I have come up with, hopefully
someone out there knows of a better one!

Another solution ....

With Delphi closed, open RegEdit and drill down to
"HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareBorlandDelphi5.0Toolbars" and delete all
but Reg_Binary entries.

Then, the next time you open Delphi, the tool bar should be reset to
exactly the way it was when you first installed it.

I have seen some other post that say to just delete the "PaletteBar"
entry; however that did not work for me, so I just deleted all of them.

Fantastic! I jsut deleted the PaletteBar entry and all my tabs are back
now!
