|
|
All of the debug functions in D6 seem to have stopped here.
Applications created with Delphi will run outside Delphi just when, but
when you try and start the debugger with F9, F7 etc., it doesn't seem to
load the program up.
Looking in the task manager, the name app seems to be loading but always
only the first 48k bytes of the app.
When you close Delphi, it tells you that an application is still being
debugged. Windows won't close down and the 48k 'stub' cannot be terminated.
Not sure what has caused this, new software in the last few days has
been FPC and Lazarus which use the GNU Debugger (that didn't seem to
want to work either!), also a myriad of daily windows updates.
I've removed Delphi, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted, still no joy.
Anyone seen this before or know of a cure?

Hoi Duncan
You need to repost your question on the Borland news server to make
everybody see it and possibly answer your question. Further, this news
group do not officially exist, the group to use is
borland.public.delphi.ide.general.
