Did you perhaps install Delphi 2005 in the same directory as Delphi 7? Or
was your PATH environment variable corrupted in one way or another? If
so, add the directory where that .bpl resides to your PATH again.

I have just installed Delphi 2005 and added my favorite components
(RemObjects w/ DA, DevExpress, LockBox & SysTools). Now when I go back
to my production code and recompile anything, the newly produced exe's
result in multiple A/V's when run from the IDE, whereas the error msg
from running outside the IDE is:

No, D2005 was intsalled in its own directory, but the PATH had some
unwanted elements. Thank you for your quick (and useful) response!
