Hi I am checking some calculations in a Delphi 7 and I have checked a calculation using Reals or Extended variables. Both give the same error in calculation in Delphi compared to a calculator. The division I am doing is 5500/2197.023 The Delphi result is 2.504527 The result for a calculator or Excel is 2.503387 What am I doing wrong. I have been using Delphi for years and I have the same program in Delphi 6 and it gives the same result as Delphi 7. If someone can explain this difference it would be greatly appreciated.
