Hello

Is there a way to use a database together with Delphi 7 Personal Edition?

I had a Delphi 4 Standard where BDE was part of the installation, but I have
lost the CD, and I have to change a program.

Regards Poul, Denmark

With ADO, yes. You can simply import the ADO type libraries, and
create Connection, Command and Recordset objects at runtime, or
download some ADO replacement components.

It's probably a good time to switch from the BDE anyway; what is the
database?

Yes, I am just making a small program to my self. I have lost my Delphi 4
Standard CD (free as well) and Delphi 7 Personal Edition has just been
available for free through a PC magazine.
