It completes without any errors now and the wizard says that it has successfully applied the update. But when I start Delphi 7 again, the update seems to be not there. The Help / About Dialog says "Delphi 7.0 Build 4.453" like before. Instead of "Delphi 7.1 Build 8.1" as described in the readme. Changed files like system.pas´,... look the same it did before. What's wrong? I have waited so long for that update, an I know that many other Borland customers did also. And now it is so buggy and costs me much time. For nothing till now. The QC article sounds like a joke. I have looked some of the files that are changed according to the readme. I did not find ANY of the improvements. So the update does not affect anything. Has anybody applied the update on the germen Enterprise edition successfully? Sergio Hello Sergio, I have excactly the same problem. The files seemed to be replaced with new versions, but version info in delphi IDE still "Delphi 7.0 Build 4.453".
