I've read the free chapter, it was still work in progress, but pretty good. It's written in style that is easy to comprehend and reference. It's got nothing to do with Gates. There's no problem for example getting a wide variety of Cold Fusion books, and Cold Fusion is Macromedia not MS. The question is purely and simply size of market and therefore expected and actual demand for a book. If the market was there a publisher would do it and a seller would make the space on the shelves.
