Now my Delphi installation is corrupt and won't load. I'm logged on as an administrator, any ideas? Control Panel->Administration Tools->Local Security Policy In the list find the following entry: "DEVICES: Restrict CD-ROM access to locally logged-on user only" If the security setting is set to enabled, change it to disabled, reboot and re-try the install. Not sure what/how/why this was enabled on one of our machines as all the rest have it disabled but changing it certainly fixes both D8 update 2 and D7.1 update installation problems on this machine.
