I have been searching around and the last thing I read about this was
something about pushing the Highlander release from mid 2006 to 2007.
Is there any new info on Delphi and .NET 2.0? |

Last I heard, you'll be looking around Q1 2007 when Highlander releases.
As far as I understand and have read, those with D2006 are SOL in terms
of gaining support of .NET 2.0, which is a shame.
What will be more of a shame, IMHO, is having to upgrade to Highlander
to regain the quality level and usability of the Delphi 7 help file for
Delphi 2006.
While I use VS2005/VS2003 for certain projects (have to use VS2005 if I
want .NET 2.0 and C# usability), I still prefer BDS2006. However, the
BDS2006 Help PALES in comparison to VS2005 and even VS2003. I think
this is inexcusable. If Borland/Devco wants to attract more people to
Delphi or even to use BDS for C#, the help file needs to be very strong
and show examples... for practically everything. (And actually
CONSISTENTLY work when and how you need it).
