Will Delphi Direct ever have any timely information? List code central article from over 14 months ago is NOT considered news! The idea is great to push new news and information to the developers without them having to go and search for it. However, the implimentation sucks. What happened? Did borland hire a little old lady (with bad eyesight and no typing skills) to run it? But we'll try to put stuff in there more often. I worked with the marketing guys to make it a little fresher. It should change as soon as they post it live. BCB users should get BCB Direct and JBuilder users JBuilder direct. Can't be that hard to do. For years now I've gotten accustomed to clicking the whole thing away, as if it were a nuisance / bug in the IDE. At one Borcon, I believe it was in San Diego, 2000, one of the keynote speakers, or was it David I (?), said a lot about the importance for all companies to have a website, and further to update it regularly. The speaker said that a customer that visits a web site for the third time and sees no change, is not likely to come back soon. I use Delphi almost every day, including Saturdays and Sundays. Having seen the "Borland, Microsoft tie .Net knot" message now a zillion times have learnt me to almost hate that thing... Anyway, I never check anymore, there may be some news buried deep below, but the top story should change rather often, IMO.
