Hi,
i wonderd why delphi 7 application get so big. I developed a small tool
which utilises only the dialog lib and displays only a dialog box - but even
this small tool is already 400kb large. I remember that in the days of
delphi 2 i was able to produce about 100kb small files. Any ideas?

This article (http://www.delphi-resource.com/articles/raw_api.shtml)
explains about the benefits and reasons of programming using raw API
calls. It seems to be the only way to avoid Delphi spewing out a
400K+ project. It could be perfect for your tool.
