I am an old Dos programmer who hasn't done much graphical interfaces.

I've done stuff like Batch files, VB/JS Scripts, Clipper, xBase, Turbo
Pascal 5.5, etc,
and hardly any gui programming.

Can someone point me to some good help files, like CHM or HLP files for
Delphi?
Stuff like Windows API calls, zipping and unzipping within an EXE, etc.

Anything you think may help....

Thanks in advance...

Look in alt.comp.language.borland-delphi.

Look for the "miniFAQ". Great stuff. I'm an old TurboPascal 7.0
developer and this Delphi came pretty easy to me.

It's the OO stuff the screws me up sometimes.

Also, just google for "Delphi tutorial". LOTS and LOTS of stuff out
there.

Good luck, and great choice with Delphi.

Erik
