Hi Andreas,

If I have Delphi SpeedUp installed, I cannot connect to my PostgreSQL
database using the PostgresDAC components from MicroOLAP.

I get an access violation in rtl70.bpl.

I have e-mailed a madExcept bug report to you.

Note that this is a different error than the one I reported earlier.
The earlier problem was different, and was with a trial version of the
PostgresDAC components. This current problem is with the most recent,
purchased version of PostgresDAC on D7.

Have you tried this registry settings?

[HKCU\Software\DelphiTools\DelphiSpeedUp]
"NoFastObj": DWORD = 1

Since installing DelphiSpeedUp (which by the way is great)in D7 I have
had intermittent problems of getting the form designer to display the
form when hitting F12 in a project with many forms using form inheritance.

Trying to open some other forms until one succeeds and then going back
to the problem form usually fixes it but it's strange.

It made me suspect FastObj and you seem to agree.

I'll try your suggestion.

Thanks,

Danny
