Hi,everybody:
I have been using delphi for five years , I love it as much you guys do ,
but after version 7 , it's too much bugs , and distrub me from time to time.
Now I have to give it up with sad , and hope nobody need to pay any more
stupid time to fool by it's bloody bugs again.
And I found that the C# is much helpful and handful and advance than Delphi
, especially after Delphi8 , So let's forget about delphi , and switch to C#
!!!!

We (a team from 5 developers) have used C# about two years to develop
complex financial system and after such long and difficult project one
thing I can say: "C# just sucks" (excuse me). C# is only for small useless
programs - nothing more. I am glad that we are back on Delphi for other
complex projects. I have see so much beautiful things in new Delphi 2005
but for now we are still on Delphi 7 for a number of reasons (JEDI,
Developer Express, etc.).
Sorry that my opinion does not coincide with yours, but that is reality -
there is nothing good as Delphi in development. Personally I use Delphi
from Delphi 1 (back in 1995) and I am happy that Borland continued with
good work.

If your saying goodbye to this news group as you are now a C# developer then
to quote Douglas Adams
"So long and thanks for all the fish!"
But Delphi's loss is my gain :-}
It will be a lot of years before companies throw away billions of pounds
worth of investemnt in staff and systems developed in Delphi so I reckon I'm
O.K. Jack!
And anyone who thinks after all these years that Borland will drop the ball
then remember Delphi Versions 2 and 4! If they can survive those mistakes
then they can survive anything - Just remember it's the odd numbers they get
right!
Can't wait for Delphi 9!

If you find your version of Delphi 7 contains bugs - report them so they can
be fixed. While you at it apply the Service packs.
Lastly - if you want to switch to C# - do it - this newsgroup certainly
doesn't need to know about it.
