Hi!

I'm desperately trying to install Indy 9 for my Delphi6 Enterprise. I have
followed the installation instructions by running the bat file and setting
the library path. I have no previous installations of Indy. When I try to
add the bpl file in Delphi, I get an error message (translated): "Can't find
procedure start adress @Idresourcestrings@_RSBindingAny in DLL file
Indy60.bpl"

Can anyone plase help me with this?

Kind regards, Pontus

You skipped the first step which is removing all indy*.* files from your
drive before running the bat file. Reading the instruction more carefully
will help you in the future :)

Even tho you say "indy isn't installed", it is by default and all the
indy*.* are copied over to your harddrive when you install delphi. Just
some info for ya :)

Yes, you do, otherwise you wouldn't be having this problem.

That is a direct result of having an older version of Indy on the machine.
You did not remove the older Indy 8 that shipped with D6. You need to do
that first. Please read the Indy FAQs for more information, it tells you
which files need to be removed.
