|
|
I had a problem running demos with websnap on CBuilder 6, then I tested the
same demos on Delphi7, but I have the same problem.
It looks to be obvious to be detected when doing simple testing of the
programs, however I am surprised because I haven't found any reference to
that bug on any web snap article.
I have tested the several demos and all of them have the same problem:
Country Editor
Master Detail
In a few words after write an invalid value for a field (Character data on a
numeric field) , apply the changes, and then canceling the not accepted
changes cause the application to be disabled to edit a record on that page.
I have seen that demos that no have cancel button availabe on the edit form
doesn't have this problem.
Any solution ???
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Effectively there is a bug on websnap. But there is a work arround: Create
the fields on the dataset adapter at design time.
FIXED
