I install new vcl which has their help files (hlp, cnt files). Using OpenHelp tool I install these help files. When I press F1 on a property or event or on selected code of the vcl I get message that such topic is not founded. On Delphi6 everything works fine. By the way vcl are for D7/D6. I install like this: I put cnt file into OpenTool Contents tab and in two other Index/Link tabs I put hlp file. Moreover I have noticed that on some properties help works and I get help topic while on other I do not. All properties and events are described and indexed in help file. It happens with other vcl too. Maybe anyone could suggest what's wrong and what to do? I am using Delphi7 Enterprise without updates. Is there any updates for Delphi7? Anyway, try the following Go to BorlandDelphihelp path and delete every GID found there. These files are hidden so use Win explorer or "del *.GID /f /a" using prompt.
