Hi.

When I buy D8, then what do I get?
A D7 CD, an 'Octane' CD and a Kylix3?

Yes, yes, no.
As I understand it, you do not get all the extras that came
along with D7 (printed documentation, Kylix CD, etc.).

So, there aren't any 'updates' to D7, right?

There has not yet been a comprehensive "Service Pack" update
for D7. There are some updates for registered users, mostly
for third party tools like Rave. And Borland has stated they are
committed to releasing a comprehensive update early in 2004 --
I believe they may have said by the end of the first quarter.
